glad you made it out.
i dont think this could have been an intended game design, to make people slowboat of grid for 40 hours. just one of those things that did not come up during testing.
maybe you should send it in as a bug report. cause frankly, if the cap is intended to die then there should be enough fire power from the sleepers to take it down.
fighters get taken out is a fair call but to be pinned in such a fashion seems unneccessary. either have the sleepers kill the cap or let it go after a while if they cant kill it. thats what would happen in pvp aswell.

Of course they do not intend him to slow boat out, this is a multiplayer game and they might be hoping the players play together, or find them selves in situations where they need help from other players (thus forcing human to human interaction)?
oh right, the mmo argument. 
if there is one thing more annoying than game bugs its the fanboys jumping in to defend them as intended or l2p or this is an mmo.

Really? The one thing that annoys me more than bugs, is having the petition que clogged up by Pilots expecting customer service to save their ass everytime theve loose a ship or finding something too hard.
what would you know about the state of the ccp customer support queues.
also look at the original post. it doesnt seem unreasonable to me to ask via the petition system if the behaviour of the rats was intend.
for all he knew it may have not been.
edit: if anything the dude posted a summary of what happened to him for the benefit of the community and all some people can do is crap all over it.

Game bugs? Where is the bug in this case? You want carriers to be solo pwnmobiles for W-Space? Or if the carrier cannot handle the heat then the Sleepers should stop shooting allowing the Carrier to get away? Or should the Sleepers just call in reinforcements when they need more DPS so stupid Carrier pilots will be killed every time they try to solopwn sleepers?
And btw, the MMO argument is a lot better than the fanboi argument.
dude, did you even read his original post. he did not complain about him having made a mistake. he was just suprised that after downtime the site did not let his ship leave. eventhough the sleepers could clearly not kill him.
where did it ever say in this thread carriers should be "solo pwnmobiles" (oh man the lingo /facepalm) and yes it is my opinion that if the sleepers want him dead they should call more reinforcements or otherwise let him go after a decent amount of time trying to crack his tank. i think there should be an option to "solopwn" (good god ) if the carrier pilot figures out a way to do it.
the OP made a mistake, admits to it. starts to wonder after still being tackle for days and asks ccp for advise. what a collosal mistake that seems to be. the op gets clarification on the issue and posts for the benefit of YOU!!! so you dont accidentally make the same mistake.
in the end he frees himself yet you keep giving him grief.

OP petioned customer service to move his boat from an area that was too difficult.
Petiton was rejected becuase hes an idot.
OP posts in general discussions 'No customer support in wormholes', becuase Petition didnt go his way.
Now OP gets community feedback on his poor choice of Ship use/knowledge/Petition.

I know that there are long waiting ques, and those ques would be shorter if people like the OP stopped using them.
